Perburuan Buaya di Kali Grogol Jakarta
Kemunculan buaya pertama kali dilihat warga pada Rabu (27/6) pagi kemarin. Namun, buaya yang teridentifikasi moncong panjang itu bergerak cepat dan menghilang. Rupanya, buaya itu bukan satu-satunya, masih ada buaya anakan yang justru muncul di bawah Jembatan Grogol dan berukuran 120 cm.

Kemunculan buaya ini juga menarik perhatian warga. Kerumunan warga di sekitar Jembatan Grogol pada saat upaya evakuasi, justru menghambat pencarian.

"Mau 24 jam juga harus kita lakukan evakuasi, tapi jangan kayak begini, nggak akan dapet. Buaya juga takut lihat manusia," kata Direktur Konservasi Keanekaragaman Hayati KLHK Indra Eksplotasia di Jalan Prof Latumenten, Grogol, Jakarta Barat, Rabu (27/6/2018).
Tim kemudian beristirahat dan meminta warga membubarkan diri. Kondisi sungai yang dalam dan penuh lumpur juga tidak memungkinkan pencarian pada malam hari.

"(Kendalanya) Dalem penuh lumpur, kedua kan dengan tadi moncong keluar bisa kita tangkep dengan metode alami menggunakan jepit tadi, dengan masyarakat lempar itu ya kita kesulitan," ucap Subdid Sumber Daya Genetik KLHK Wiwid Widodo, di lokasi yang sama.
Satwa yang tergolong buas tersebut dikhawatirkan mengancam keselamatan. Belum diketahui dari mana buaya tersebut berasal. Muncul sejumlah dugaan, yaitu lokasi itu memang habitat alamnya, atau buaya itu dipelihara lalu dibuang, atau berasal dari penangkaran, tetapi lolos saat terjadi banjir bandang pada 2006 silam.

Rencananya pencarian akan terus dilakukan selama 7 hari. Jika belum ditemukan, petugas akan memberi tanda larangan untuk warga.
"Standarnya 7 hari kita lakukan evakuasi, plus tadi ya terakhir kita lakukan pantauan kalau sewaktu-waktu muncul kita akan minta bantuan ke pemerintah pemda, sementara pasang papan larangan kalau sampai 7 hari ke depan tidak bisa kita kuasai," ujar Petugas operasional Damkar Tanjung Duren, Ahmad Rasuli.
